Your Guide: Stoughton Farmers Market
Coming this weekend to the Stoughton Farmers Market...

he Stoughton Farmers Market is back this Saturday, August 3, bringing fresh produce, baked goods, crafts and entertainment to downtown Stoughton.
The Farmers Market will run every Saturday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Trackside Plaza (2 Canton Street) from June through October.
Vendors this week include:- Akin-Bak Farm: Honey, Jams & Jellies,Crafts, beeswax candles, honey candy
- Foxboro Cheese Company: fresh cheese,frozen grass-fed beef, humanely raised veal, maple syrup, eggs
- Giovanni’s Ice Cream: Italian Ice from Ritchie’s in Everett
- Jordan Brothers Seafood: fresh seafood products
- Oakdale Farms: variety of vegetables
- Stoughton Bakery: variety of freshly baked breads and desserts
- O’Briens Bakery: variety of fresh baked breads and desserts
- Fairmount Fruit Farms: veggies, berries, tree fruits, peanuts
- Next Step Living: home energy assessments, total climate control, solar
- Bridgewater Village Bakery: breads and dipping oils
- Sheldonville Soapworks: handcrafted soaps, lip balms, body lotions, homemade soap dishes, laundry soap, scrubs, soap accessories
- Bernadette Johnson: handmade crafts
- Brenda Martin: jewelry
- There will be a kids' tent, with farm and train toys. There will be a free kids craft from 1030 a.m. - 1230 p.m.
- Storytime with Peggy Sewcyk will be at 10 a.m.
Entertainment
- Entertainment will be provided by Big River Depot (Country/Johnny Cash style music).

Every purchase at the Stoughton Farmers Market earns you a free chance at the drawing, which will be held Sat, August 17 at 1230 p.m. live at the market. Shop each and every vendor every week and you'll boost your chances! Volunteer with us for an hour or two and get a free chance. MISC
- People can take a self-guided Stoughton Train Walking Tour, which includes 15 locations in the downtown area that have model trains set up for children and families to enjoy.
- There will be food demos/ free samples and recipes by UMASS Ext. Nutrition program.
- There is no admission to the market, which is held rain or shine. Market goers are asked to keep their pets at home.
- SNAP/EBT accepted at the market beginning this weekend.
Recycled Model Train Contest Coming...
The Stoughton Farmers Market and Stoughton YMCA are co-sponsoring a Recycled Model Train Contest on September 7 at the Farmers Market.
Search through your recycled items to build your own model train! Consideration will be given to most creative model with the most recycled products used.
There will be age divisions for ages 4 and below, ages 5 to 7, ages 8 to 10 , and ages 11 and up.
All models must be no larger than 11 inches long, by 8.5 inches wide, and 8 inches high.
