If You're Running For Sudbury Office, Know How To Do It

The League of Women Voters in Sudbury is hosting an important workshop for anyone involved in the upcoming spring town election.

SUDBURY, MA—Ever think about running for public office? Well, you've got to know what you're doing, don't you?

The League of Women Voters of Sudbury, in cooperation with Town Clerk Rosemary Harvell, is holding a How to Run for Office workshop Wednesday, Jan. 3, at 7 p.m. in Town Hall (snow date Jan. 4). Harvell outlines the requirements and deadlines for running in Sudbury’s town election, scheduled for Monday, March 26, said an announcement from the League.

Anyone interested in running for local office this year or in the future, as well as campaign managers and treasurers, along with anyone who just wants to know more about the process, is encouraged to attend. The workshop is free and open to the public.

The League of Women Voters of Sudbury will hold its annual Candidates’ Night for those running in the spring election on Monday, March 5, at 7:30 p.m. at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School.
