Vandalism Reported at Little League Fields

The following is an excerpt from the Swampscott Police log:
Wednesday, April 11
- At 1 p.m., a loose puppy bulldog was reported on Farragut Road.
- At 4:34 p.m., police received complaints about a person on Pine Street working on a car and revving the engine.
- At approximately 9 a.m., police responded to Humphrey Street for a report a "possibly intoxicated woman fell out of her car." The woman was then spotted walking toward . Police did not find the woman.
- At 11:47 p.m., a resident of Essex Street reported their son's ex-girlfriend threatened to bring people to the house with guns.

- At 5:07 p.m., a person was issued a summons for shoplifting from
- At 10:28 p.m., a group of noisy youths were reported on Elmwood Road.
- A person was injured after a fight in a parking lot on Humphry Street at 11:24 p.m.
Saturday, April 14
- At 11 a.m., a resident of Norfolk Avenue reported a strong smell of natural gas. Nothing was found.
- At 2:15 p.m., a resident of Pine Street complained about a neighbor's failure to comply with an order not to do car repairs in the driveway.
- At 4 p.m., a raccoon was reported in a backyard on Pine Street.
- Seven youths were escorted off a Bradlee Avenue property at 10:26 p.m. A neighbor complained about the youths in the backyard, causing damage.

- At 9:14 a.m., vandalism was reported in the little league field bathrooms.
Monday, April 16
- A "prowler" was reported on Maple Avenue at 1:52 a.m. A youth was later found.
- At 2:02 p.m., a child was reported to be stuck in a fireplace on Worcester Avenue. When police arrived, they found it was not a child, but an elderly person. One person was transported to Union Hospital.
- At 2:29 p.m., kids hitting baseballs into the street on Middlesex Avenue were reported. An officer spoke to the kids.
- At 4:42 p.m., vandalism to the men's room door was reported at the little league fields.
The following people were arrested:
- Scott David Sokol, 43, 32 Franklin Ave., was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol (second offense) and marked lanes violation.
- Glen Carbonneau, 38, 66 Kensington Ln., was charged with assault and battery on a police officer, destruction of property and drug possession.
