Everyone is encouraged to apply or pass this information along.
Welcome to 2026! Attention, graduating high school seniors who will be attending a post-secondary school, applications for scholarships are being accepted through January 31, 2026. Visit our website for details at https://www.osiama.org/scholarships. Everyone is encouraged to apply or pass this information along. The Charity Auction also made it possible for us to donate to local charities including, the Wakefield Food Pantry, the Holiday Toy Shop, the North Reading Council of Aging, St Vincent de Paul and host a delicious brunch for Wakefield Veterans. Thanks again to all who donated, attended and placed bids at the event.
The Wakefield Lodge enjoyed a fabulous gathering at the West Side Social Club in December. A delightful Chinese dinner from Jade Gourmet in Wakefield was enjoyed. We played (many for the first time) a traditional Italian game called Tombola, complete with prizes. The hospitality committee outdid themselves with the decorations, and someone at every table won a centerpiece.
Also in December, some members participated, along with the Wakefield Council of Clubs, to purchase and deliver food baskets to local families in need. This hard-working team of several local clubs really came together to make Christmas a little better for dozens of families.

As in the past, the Lodge will not meet in January and February. However, if you would like to join us at a future meeting, reach out to President Toni Encarnacao at WakefieldOSIA@gmail.com. Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook, check out photos from past activities and see our members from Wakefield and beyond. We are planning many upcoming fun events happening at our Lodge. Come and check us out.
