1. Slight Chance of Showers Tuesday
Tuesday calls for a slight chance of showers after 3 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. Increasing clouds, with a high near 73. Light southwest wind increasing to 5 to 9 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
In the evening there is a chance of showers, mainly after 7pm. Cloudy, with a low around 60. Light south wind. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

2. Camouflage Day at WHS
This week is Spirit Week at Walpole High School. Students are encouraged to dress up in different themed clothes each day. Tuesday is Camouflage Day. Spirit Week will end on Friday with a pep rally.

3. REMINEDER: Understanding Alzheimer's Information Session at Library
The Walpole Public Library will be hosting a discussion on Understanding Alzheimer’s disease from 6:30-7:30 p.m, Thursday.
The talk offers practical information and guidance to anyone caring for someone with this progressive disease, or anyone who wishes to expand their knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease.
Topics to be covered include:
- What causes Alzheimer’s disease?
- How is it diagnosed and treated?
- How to communicate with someone who has Alzheimer’s disease
4. Walpole Selectmen to Meet
- Board of Selectmen Public Hearing 8:00PM in the Main Meeting Room Legal Notice
- The Board of Selectmen will meet at 7:00 p.m. in the Main Meeting at the Town Hall. To view the agenda click here.
On the agenda for the Selectmen will be a hearing about the alleged liquor violation by Chili's.
They will also be discussing whether to grant permission for a livery service to operate within the town.
A talk will be held about the intersection of Lincoln Road and Granite Street.
5. Coffee Hour with Walpole Patch
Walpole Patch editor Ben Paulin will be holding office hours from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4 at Starbucks inside Barnes and Noble at the Walpole Mall.
