5 Things, Oct. 23: Adams Farm Meeting and Dr. JungleStein’s Halloween Madness

1. Cloudy Day Predicted Tuesday

According to the National Weather Service, look for increasing clouds, with a high near 65. Calm wind becoming northwest 5 to 7 mph in the morning.

At night they predict mostly cloudy skies, with a low around 44. Calm wind. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

2. Dr. JungleStein’s Halloween Madness

Join mad scientist Dr. JungleStein for this program which focuses on Halloween safety and fun! Highlights of the show include a fun focus on Halloween safety, a "Thriller" dance competition, The Monster Mash balloon wrap, the Ghostbusters challenge, Jack-o-lantern basketball, and a mad scientist magic show. Attending in costume is encouraged! This show is for ages 3 and up. It is free to all, and no registration is required.

3. Friends of Adams Farm Annual Meeting

The Friends of Adams Farm Annual Meeting will take place on Tuesday, October 23, at 7 p.m. in the Walpole Senior Center. All members are encouraged to attend and vote on the directors for next year. Nominations for director will be accepted before the meeting by Secretary Yvette Morrill, who can be reached at ybmorrill1985@verizon.net and at the meeting as well.

4. Town Forest Committee to Meet

The Town Forest Committee will be meeting at 6:30 p.m. in Room 116 at the Walpole Town Hall.
