5 Things, Oct. 31: Wednesday Weather, Farmers Market and Happy Halloween!

1. Happy Halloween!

2. Wednesday Weather

The National Weather Service calls for a chance of showers, mainly before 9 a.m. Patchy fog before 10 a.m. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 60. Southwest wind 6 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Wednesday night is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a low around 42. Calm south wind around 5 mph.

3. Walpole Farmers Market

Visit the Farmers Market in Walpole Center on the Town Common on Main Street (Route 1A).  The outdoor Market runs weekly on Wednesdays, from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., rain or shine, through Oct. 31.   

Enjoy shopping local from area vendors all in once place!  Plenty of farm fresh produce, cheeses, fish, eggs, baked goods, honey, jams, mustards, relishes, sauces, herbs, flowers, craft items and much more is available.

4. To All Franklin, Needham and Providence/Stoughton Line Customers

The MBTA has advised that there will be routine maintenance performed on the commuter rail platform elevator that services tracks 1 and 3 at Back Bay Station, between the hours of 9am and 2pm on Wednesday, October 31, 2012.

Any passengers that require the use of this elevator at Back Bay Station are advised to exit the train at Ruggles and take the Orange Line to Back Bay Station during that time. Notify your conductor if you need any further assistance. 

5. Take a Load Off With Some Bar Trivia

British Beer Company on Route 1 will host Wicked Scary Halloween Trivia with Pat Lally from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Team Trivia Night at Beckett's Pub is at 8:30 p.m. It is free and the top 4 finishing teams win prizes. Teams can consist of anywhere from 1 to 6 people.
