The National Weather Service calls for patchy fog before 10 a.m. Friday. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 78. Calm wind becoming west around 6 mph in the afternoon.

At night look for mostly clear skies, with a low around 56. Southwest wind around 5 mph.

2. 6th Grade Halloween Dance Party Tonight

Walpole Rec is hosting a Halloween themed dance for Walpole 6th Graders Friday night. Costumes are encouraged, but not required. Prizes will be awarded. For more information visit the Walpole Rec website.

3. REMINDER: Concert at Bird Park on Saturday

Head to Bird Park for a concert outdoors on the music court! Terry Chance and the Mavericks will be performing, with Yani Batteau and the Styles opening.

Tickets available at the gate. Bring your blankets or lawn chairs to enjoy the show from the lawn area. Parking is available on Polley Ln.

Tickets are $10 for adults. Kids get in free.

The concert starts at 6 p.m.

4. Walpole COA Foliage Trip

The Walpole Council on Aging will be hosting a fall foliage trip today. The trip includes a 4-hour train ride to view the leaves in New Hampshire. A buffet luncheon is also included in the cost of the trip. The cost is $59.95.

5. Fun in the Fall Reading at Barnes and Noble

Barnes & Noble at the Walpole Mall will be hosting a children's storytime at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. The book Ruby's Falling Leaves will be read aloud.
