When students return to Walpole High School Monday they will be given a Boston Strong ribbon to remember the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings.
Walpole High School’s student council crafted 1,500 ribbons for the entire WHS student body this week to honor those affected by the Marathon tragedy.
“The council at large worked on the ribbons, which is some 60 odd kids,” said Stuco member Jen McDonald. “The idea was brought up by Keri Mac, the student council advisor and was approved by both the council’s executive board of students and administration. We worked for two hours and made 1,500 ribbons and two large ribbons for the front entrance.”
