Vote Now for Walpole Coalition for Alcohol & Drug Awareness Video Contest Winners

Voting will end Tuesday, Feb. 12.

The Walpole Coalition for Alcohol and Drug Awareness received 10 submissions in the second year of its video contest. 

Two entries were from the elementary schools, six were from the middle schools and two were from the high school.  

The Coalition is now asking Walpole residents to view all of them here and vote on them by liking the best videos.

Voting will end Tuesday, Feb. 12.

The judges will take the YouTube likes into consideration, along with the messages from the videos as they decide who will be the winners of this year’s contest.

First and second place prizes will receive $250 and $100, respectively, for the elementary and high school category.

First, second and third place will receive $50 for the middle school entries. 

All entrants, whether they win a prize or not will be recognized by the Board of Selectmen on March 7 and by the district attorney's office. 

The Coalition is encouraging people to start watching and voting on the videos. 

The next two meetings for the Coalition will be meeting Monday Feb. 4 at 7 p.m. and Monday Feb. 11 at 10 a.m., at Town Hall in Room 112.
