Walpole Football, Field Hockey Currently Ranked in Top 10 by Pundits
Both teams have outscored their opponents by wide margins so far this season.

The Walpole varsity football and field hockey teams both came into the season with high hopes and high expectations.
And so far, both teams are undefeated and are ranked in the top 10 in the state by ESPNBoston.com and Boston.com.
The Porkers, Walpole's field hockey team, currently sit at No. 3 in the state in Boston.com's Globe Top 20 rankings.

The girls are 11-0 on the season and 9-0 in Bay State Conference play.
Their latest victory coming Monday over 5th ranked Andover - who won last year's Division 1 state title.

The Porkers have yet to allow a goal this season and have outscored opponents by an astounding 73-0 margin through 11 games.
Anchored by goalie Molly Breen and powered by a potent offensive attack the Porkers will look to continue their dominance as they move up the rankings.
As for the Rebels football squad, they sit at No. 7 in ESPNBoston.com's MIAA Top 25 and Boston.com's Globe Top 20 rankings, respectively.
The Rebels are coming off a 40-0 win over Norwood and are 5-0 on the season - all Bay State Conference games.
Their defense has allowed an average of 7.4 points per game while their offense is lighting up the scoreboard with 39.2 points on average, per game.
Led by their powerful running back combo of senior captains Mike Rando and Cam Hanley, the Rebels have run all over opposing defenses. They have also seen solid play from junior quarterback Will Bolster.
Defensively they have two shutouts on the season and allowed only a field goal in another game.
The Walpole varsity swim team is also having a strong season.
The girls are undefeated so far on the year with a record of 6-0.
Walpole Patch will continue to keep an eye on all of the fall teams throughout the second half of the season and into the playoffs.
