Walpole Obituary: Edith A. Nannicelli
Ms. Nannicelli was a resident of East Walpole since 1955.

Mrs. Edith Ann (Zani) Nannicelli, 88, died Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at the Milford Regional Medical Center in Milford Born in Wellesley, on Feb. 6, 1924, she was the daughter of Gaspero and Gennie (Maccini) Zani.
She was a 1942 graduate of Wellesley High School and a 1946 graduate of Newton-Wellesley Hospital Hospital School of Nursing.
Mrs. Nannicelli worked at the Norwood Hospital for more than 40 years as a registered nurse and retired in 1982. She then became the activities director at the Maple Grove Nursing Home, Norwood.

She had been a resident of East Walpole since 1955, moving there from Norwood.
She was a member of Sodality at Saint Mary's Church in East Walpole. She enjoyed bowling and dancing.

Beloved wife of the late Arthur J. Nannicelli, she was the loving mother of Linda Reynolds of Northridge, Calif., Richard Nannicelli of Antrim, N.H., Lisa Lewis of Webster, Lois Caneja of Walpole, and the late Laura Deery; cherished grandmother of 12; and great-grandmother of two; sister of Virginia Fegan of Natick, Rita Long of Florida, the late Henry Zane, Judy Ryan, Mary Bertolami, James Zani, and Albina Grome. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at Saint Mary's Church, 176 Washington St., East Walpole. at the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common St., Walpole.
Interment was in Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton. Memorial donations may be made to: Activities Director at Countryside Health Care, One Countryside Drive, Milford, MA 01757.
