Gordon Edward Mattson, age 55, died unexpectedly at his home in Quincy. Born in Weymouth, MA on April 8, 1957. He was the son of Phyllis M. Mattson of Plymouth and the late Edward R. Mattson. He was a graduate of Norfolk Agricultural School in Walpole. Gordon had a long, 28 year career working for Otis Elevator Company. Gordon had many hobbies and especially enjoyed the outdoors. He loved being on the water, enjoyed fishing and had owned his own boat for many years. Besides his mother, he leaves his sister Nancy McHone and his nephew Benjamin McHone. He also leaves his cousins Roy and Sheila Gustafson, Marie and Steve Hubbard, Carolyn Elliot and her children Peter and Elizabeth Elliot, Jean Rioux and her daughter Danielle Rioux.
