Walpole Obituary: Stephen M. Forkin

Stephen M. Forkin age 51 years died in Norwood, Massachusetts on Thursday, August 30, 2012. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on September 16, 1960, he was raised in Roslindale and graduated from Catholic Memorial High School with the class of 1978. He later attended Boston State College for 2 years. He has been a resident of Norwood for the past 8 months moving there from Walpole, where he had lived for 8 years.

Mr. Forkin worked as a deli clerk in the Stop and Shop in Walpole for 5 years.

He served as a CCD Teacher and an Eucaristic Minister at the Blessed Sacrament Church in Walpole.

Mr. Forkin enjoyed sports, and was a member of the Bowling Club in Norwood; hiking; listening to music, and spending time at the beach, especially at Castle Island.

Beloved son of Rita H. (Nelligan) Forkin of Walpole and the late Timothy R. Forkin. Loving brother of Patricia Costigan of Norwood, Donna Abrams of Stoughton, and Timothy R. Forkin, Jr.of Walpole. Cherished uncle of Timothy, Michael, Lindsey, Meaghan, Danielle, Corey, Ryan, Erin.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route 27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Friday, September 7, 2012 at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours are Thursday, September 6, 2012 from 4 to 8 PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment will be private.
