Walpole came out relatively unscathed after last night's storm. High winds and heavy rain hit the region last night causing power outages and downed tree branches. According to Walpole PD, the town fared well during the storm without any major incidences. "We had fairly quiet night weather wise. We experienced a few alarms, debris in roadways and a few branches down, but relatively uneventful," Deputy Chief John Carmichael said. Editor's Note: A big branch (pictured) fell in my back yard on Grover St. You could hear the branches cracking from inside last night. Send us your storm photos if you have them!
