Friday- August 24, 2012

Be On the Look Out- 5:31 a.m.

Route 1- Caller reported a blue Ford F150 truck struck a guard rail on Route 95 and kept on going towards Route 1. State truck had no plates on it. Norwood Police notified.

Malicious Destruction of Private Property- 10:06 a.m.

South Street- Caller reported that someone had driven through his fence at some point overnight. Report taken.

Assault and Battery, Resisting Arrest, Arrest Made- 4:00 p.m.

Washington Street- Report of fights starting in the Boyden School. Matthew James Beggan, 18, of 482 East 8th Street, Apt. 1, South Boston, Mass. was arrested for alleged Assault and Battery and Resisting Arrest.

Fire, Other- 8:41 p.m.

Federal Street- Reporting party reported that a 3-year-old locked herself in the bathroom. Fire Department notified. Party assisted.

 

Saturday- August 25, 2012

Animal Complaint- 12:23 p.m.

Albany Road- Caller reported a coyote that is living near the property under a tree. Animal Control Officer to respond.

Officer Wanted- 12:43 p.m.

Main Street- Walpole PD to speak with people tailgating at the cemetary. People were removed.

Officer Wanted- 12:43 p.m.

Main Street- Caller reported a bus load of intoxicated people stopped in front of Galaxy Granite urinating on the lawn. Parties spoken to.

Larceny- 7:03 p.m.

Route 1- Kohl's loss prevention reported two juveniles being detained for shoplifting. Both parties to be summoned. Officer to stand by with the youths until their parents arrive.

 

Sunday- August 26, 2012

Malicious/Wanton Defacing/Damaging of Property, Arrest Made- 6:55 a.m.

Baker Street- Report of a person in the parking lot that keeps trying to enter the building. Gary J. Smith, 40, of 12 Clark Road, Millis, Mass. was arrested for alleged Malicious/Wanton Defacing/Damaging of Property.

Officer Wanted- 1:29 p.m.

Summer Street- Resident reported an arrow sticking out of his roof. Report taken.

Speeding, Other Charges, Arrest Made- 6:49 p.m.

Baker Street- Michael H. Gross, 20, of 51 Baker Street, Walpole was arrested for alleged Possession of Liquor Under the Age of 21, Speeding and Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License.

Protective Custody- 9:36 p.m.

Alton Street- Caller reported that her husband was intoxicated and out of control. Officer returned with male party in protective custody.
