WALTHAM, MA – Home buying in Waltham is on the rise, according to one local real estate magazine.

Boston Agent reported last week that there were more home sales in the Watch City in October than in any other Greater Boston market. Those who live in Waltham already know its charms, but the magazine outlined three key reasons why homebuyers are flocking to the city in droves:

1. Fantastic Returns - Boston Agent highlighted Waltham's positive growth, including an increase in total home sales, growth in median price sales for single-family homes and condos and a falling time on the market rate.

2. Strong Education Networks - The magazine not only touted colleges like Brandeis and Bentley, but recognized Waltham's strong public school system, as well.

3. A Vibrant Culture - This one's a no-brainer. From Moody Street, to its various concerts and cultural festivals, Waltham has emerged as a hotspot for residents and out-of-towners alike.
