City Of Waltham Installs New Stop Sign On Prentice Street

The new stop sign creates an all way stop at the intersection with Plympton Street and Irving Street.

WALTHAM, MA — On Friday, the City of Waltham installed a new stop sign on Prentice Street northbound at the intersection with Plympton Street and Irving Street, as recently approved by the Traffic Commission.

This five way intersection is now an all way stop, meaning that vehicles approaching from any direction need to come to a complete stop and then safely proceed through the intersection when it’s their turn.

"This is another important step in our efforts to continuously improve safety on our streets,” the city said in a statement.
