WALTHAM, MA — As the number of people who test positive for the new coronavirus goes up with increased testing, the city has had to deal with a number of changes and interruptions.
As of Friday, 214 Waltham residents had tested positive for the coronavirus and one person had died, the city announced. Also Friday, the number of cases across the state rose above 20,000, and 599 people had died because of COVID-19, the disease caused by the virus.
