The Waltham City Council has granted Work Out World's request for extended hours and it will now open at 5 a.m. The License &amp; Franchise Committee recommended the council approve the new hours. Prior to Monday, Dec. 10, the fitness center's hours were 6 a.m. - 12 a.m. The  to remain open 24 hours, only to be denied over concerns over traffic and noise. The company later filed a similar request to open one hour earlier at 5 a.m.  and garnered community support for the move.
