According to a Facebook post from The Waltham Channel, Deep Ellum will take over the space where The Gaff is located at 467 Moody Street. The eatery and bar will offer a full menu with items including burgers, charcuterie boards, a “great Reuben,” and a Saturday brunch with breakfast tacos.
Co-owner Max Toste said Deep Ellum also plans to offer entertainment, possibly jazz in the afternoon.
There is currently no closing date for The Gaff, which first opened in 2009.
A new bakery-cafe, Mister Monut, is the third eatery on its way to the city and plans to open at 873 Main Street.
A job post on Glassdoor mentions that it will be a "brand new, fast-paced bakery concept" that "will be serving Asian themed [desserts]."
