A hearing will be held tonight for a proposed cat shelter.
The hearing to review and discuss a proposed zoning change for the shelter will begin at 8 p.m. at City Hall. The Cat Connection, a Waltham-based cat rescue group, has proposed opening a shelter in the former north Waltham library next to the John F. Kennedy Middle School on Lexington Street.
The hearing will review a proposed zone change that would allow the shelter to operate there.
