Latinos In Action Donates Thanksgiving Meals For 100 Waltham Families

WALTHAM, MA — Latinos in Action of Waltham, an organization working to bridge the graduation and opportunity gap for Latino students, has donated Thanksgiving meals to local families in need, the Waltham Police Department said in a Facebook post.

The organization donated enough turkeys and bags of food for over 100 families.

LIA has partnered with Waltham police for over 25 years, the department said. On Saturday, Officers Corvett, Orta, and Bell assisted in helping the organization load cars at the First Lutheran Church and deliver food.
