MA Gym Teacher Faces Child Porn Charges
The man has connections to schools in Waltham and Belmont, where he has taught gym.
WALTHAM, MA — A Massachusetts gym teacher with ties to Waltham and Belmont schools pled not guilty to child porn charges.
Stephen McDonough, 60, is charged with possessing and disseminating child pornography after officials found various materials on his phone.
He is being held in Middlesex County Jail with bail set at $25,000.

State Police said they began investigating McDonough after a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in August.
Officials were able to track the activity back to an address in Waltham.

A pre-trial hearing for the case is scheduled for Oct. 22.
