MA's Mighty Squirrel Brewing Rolls Out Fall Brews Ahead Of Oktoberfest

WALTHAM, MA — It's starting to feel a lot like fall in Massachusetts, and locals in Waltham will have the chance to celebrate with a seasonal beer in hand this weekend.

Mighty Squirrel Brewing has launched its fall lineup of beers ahead of Oktoberfest, which the brewery will celebrate at its Waltham location over the weekend.

Waltham's taproom is set to host a few events this weekend, including the Mighty Squirrel steinholding competition at 7 p.m. on Friday and the annual RACE Cancer 5k/5-mile race and after party the following day.

Mighty Squirrel will also run food specials across the weekend, starting on Friday.

The run helps "raise funds and awareness for organizations dedicated to fighting cancer in partnership with [Race Cancer]," Mighty Squirrel officials said.

After the run, all runners and volunteers over 21 get free entry and two beers at the Oktoberfest party with live music, free skin cancer screenings and an awards ceremony.

As for what drinks will be flowing, Mighty Squirrel released three beers for the season, including its Gourdgeous Pumpkin ale, a festbier and Oktoberfest.
