WALTHAM, MA — On Monday, Ward 9 City Councilor Jonathan Paz endorsed six Democratic candidates in Massachusetts’ statewide races.

Paz said he chose to endorse candidates based on their values and strength of policies, electability, accomplishments, and representation in terms of proximity to social injustice.

Here are the candidates officially endorsed by the City Councilor:
- Maura Healey for Governor
- Kim Driscoll for Lieutenant Governor
- Shannon Liss-Riordon for Attorney General
- Tanisha Sullivan for Secretary of State
- Chris Dempsey for Auditor
- Heather May for State Representative
"In a historic election year, I hope these perspectives encourage you to get out and vote!” Paz said in a statement.
