Waltham Farmers’ Market Accepting WIC Coupons For Fresh Produce

WALTHAM, MA — The Waltham Farmers’ Market is accepting WIC coupons that can be used to buy fresh fruits and vegetables.

The $30 coupons are available to current WIC participants (over 4 months old) and can be used at approved farmers’ markets and farmstands in Massachusetts. They are separate from regular WIC benefits and cannot be used at the grocery store.

Eligible residents can pick up the WIC coupons on Friday, July 29 at 21 South Street, Suite 201. Active participants need to show their WIC card.

Coupons are given out on a first-come, first-serve basis and the availability of coupons is not guaranteed for everyone who is eligible or signs up.

At the Waltham Farmers’ Market, WIC coupons can be used at Dick’s Market Garden, Heaven’s Harvest, Sibling Organic Crops, and Spring Brook Farm.
