Waltham Lexington Street Construction Moves To Daytime Hours
Starting this week, Lexington Street construction will start at 7 a.m. Monday through Thursday. Here's what else to know.
WALTHAM, MA — Ongoing construction on Lexington Street in Waltham will look different during the daytime hours in the upcoming days.
The Massachusetts Water Resources Authority finished night construction hours on Thursday and, beginning on Monday, will pivot to daytime working hours.
Lexington Street between Lake Street and Totten Pond Road will be closed for southbound travel and northbound traffic will be open for travel starting Monday. Working hours during the shutdown are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Officials note that there may be days where the work will extend beyond 5 p.m. due to "unforeseen delays above or below ground."
Lexington Street will reopen at 7 p.m. after each workday, and there are no scheduled workdays on Saturdays and Sundays.
