Waltham Lexington Street Sidewalk Improvements Are Underway
The project will replace existing sidewalks, plant new trees and more. It should be completed in July, officials said.

Lexington Street Sidewalk Improvements are now underway and are anticipated to be completed in July 2024.

This project will consist of resetting of the existing granite curbing, replacing existing sidewalks and driveway aprons with new concrete along both sides of Lexington Street, removal of existing street trees, and planting of new street trees.
Final paving of Lexington Street will be completed by the MWRA project following the completion of this sidewalk project.
