Waltham Mexican Restaurant Debuts Brunch This Weekend

A new breakfast taco option is set to debut in Waltham this weekend. Here's what to know.

WALTHAM, MA — Margaritas Mexican Restaurant will trade in the margarita for a Bloody Maria this weekend when it debuts brunch in Waltham.

Starting Saturday, Margaritas will begin weekend brunch service exclusively at its Waltham location, serving Mexican breakfast specialties with a twist and brunch cocktails.

Meals include items like Breakfast Tacos with farm eggs, a meat choice (carnitas, bacon or chorizo), crispy potatoes, peppers, scallions, a blend of cheese and cilantro served with sour cream and salsa fresca.

For those who lean sweet for breakfast, they'll also be serving Mexican Churro-Style French Toast with cinnamon sugar-dusted French toast doused in dulce de leche sauce, topped with vanilla cream and pineapple salsa.

Vegan options will also be on the menu, as will a Carnitas Benedict with crispy pork carnitas and poached eggs atop an English muffin with a smoky chipotle hollandaise, served with crispy street corn potatoes.

Brunch is available on weekends at the 211 Moody St. location from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
