Waltham Mortgage Professional Lands on 'Hot 100' List of Industry's Most Influential

WALTHAM, MA – A Waltham mortgage professional was named among the industry's most influential movers this year, landing on Mortgage Professional America's "Hot 100" list.

This isn't the first time Guaranteed Rate's Shant Banosian has been hailed for his work – last year, MPA recognized him as one of its 2016 Young Guns, a list of industry professionals under 35 who are contributing to the growth of the mortgage industry.

"Industries far and wide were rocked to the core in 2016 amid unexpected political changes, sports victories and natural disasters – and the mortgage business was no exception," Heather Turner, MPA journalist, said in a statement. "The list doesn’t include every professional who’s making a difference but we’ve narrowed it down to 100 individuals who we believe deserve mention for their achievements in 2016 and the accomplishments that are sure to come in 2017."

Banosian has more than a decade of experience in the mortgage industry and last year was named to Guaranteed Rate's Chairman's Circle, a club for producers who exceed $100 million in annual loan value.
