Waltham Mortgage Professionals Make '150 Million Dollar Club' List

WALTHAM, MA – Two Waltham-based mortgage professionals were included on this year's list of the industry's most prolific originators. Mortgage Professional America has released this year's 150 Million Dollar Club list, which features Shant Banosian and Andrew Marquis of Guaranteed Rate.

The list features just 46 men and women who originated more than $150 million in loan volume in 2016. Mortgage Professional America determined its selection through applications and nominations by mortgage lenders across the country.

"These impressive originators come from all walks of life and hail from all regions of the country," Heather Turner, MPA journalist, said in a statement. "Whether they work for small regional firms or for large national companies, they all have on common goal: helping thousands of families achieve the American dream of homeownership."

Marquis, senior vice president of mortgage lending, closed 668 loans last year for a total volume of $251 million. Banosian, senior vice president and branch manager, raked in $434 million in total volume with 1,136 loans.
