Waltham Motorcycle Cop Injured In Traffic Accident
The injuries aren't life-threatening, officials said, but the officer was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
WALTHAM, MA — A Waltham motorcycle police officer was injured while responding to a call for service, police said.
Around 6 p.m. on Tuesday, police said the officer was involved in a collision while responding to the emergency on his motorcycle.
"The officer was navigating through heavy traffic when the collision occurred with another vehicle in the area of 730 Main Street," police said.

Officials said the officer sustained "non-life-threatening" injuries and was taken to an area hospital for treatment. The driver of the other vehicle was uninjured.
An investigation is ongoing into the matter, officials said.
