WALTHAM, MA — Waltham police have arrested a resident for possessing a gun without a license, the Waltham Police Department said Tuesday.

On Thursday, October 13 around 1 a.m., officers responded to a disturbance, where they found a man hiding in a closet and arrested him on an existing criminal warrant. Police then discovered information indicating that a woman who had left the scene earlier was in possession of a firearm.

Officers located the woman shortly after and found that she had an unloaded .22 caliber revolver in her possession without a valid license to carry.
