ICYMI: Waltham Police Welcome Newest, Furriest Member
This highly-trained dog is ready to hit the streets.

WALTHAM, MA — The Waltham Police Department is welcoming its newest member, and he's got more than two legs.
K9 Hondo, along with his human counterpart Officer John Connarton, have just completed the 14-week Boston Police Canine Academy, according to a Facebook post by the police department.
Connarton is a 17-year veteran of the Waltham Police Department and will be working alongside Hondo on his evening patrol shifts.

"We look forward to Officer Connarton and 'Hondo' providing a great service to our community for years to come," police said in the post.
