Waltham Power Outage Shuts Down City Hall Early

WALTHAM, MA — Because of a power outrage, Waltham City Hall closed early Friday. The power was out when staffers got in the morning, according to officials.

According to MEMA, only 43 customers in Waltham are currently without power, and one of them happens to be City Hall.

"There's not much you can do without power," said Assistant City Clerk Joe Vizard.

Power should be restored by the end of the weekend when its business as usual, according to a tweet sent out by city hall.
