Waltham Spray Parks Open For 2025 Summer Season
The city has announced hours and days of operation for 13 of its 14 spray parks for 2025.
WALTHAM, MA — After a brief preview during some unexpected heat in recent weeks, Waltham residents can take solace in that the city's spray parks are open for the season as of Wednesday.
City officials confirmed that the following spray parks are open as of this week:
- Bobby Connors Playground, 20 Sunnyside St.
- Chesterbrook Housing, Brookway Court
- Dana Court, Gardner Street
- Drake Playground, 3 Hazel St.
- Fitch Spray Park, 14 Ash St.
- Graverson Playground, 16 Pine Vale Rd.
- Lazazzero Playground, 7 Shore Rd.
- Lowell Field, 190 Grove St.
- McDonald Playground, 8 Cutter St.
- Msgr. McCabe/Warrendale Playground, 90 Charlotte Rd.
- Nipper Maher Park, 65 Dartmouth St.
- Prospect Hill Park, 314 Totten Pond Rd.
- Thompson Playground, 95 Charles St.
Spray parks are open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Sunday, with the exception of Drake Playground and Msgr. McCabe, which will open at 3 p.m. on school days.

The spray park at 200 Trapelo Rd. remains closed at this time. Also opening soon is the state-run Connors Memorial Swimming Pool on River Street, which is scheduled to open on June 21.
