Waltham Turns Into Winter Wonderland
The National Weather Service said the snow will likely turn to rain again this afternoon, so enjoy it while you can.

WALTHAM, MA — If you've looked out your window this morning, you might notice the rain has turned to snow. According to the National Weather Service it will likely switch back to rain at some point. So enjoy it while you can.
(Next Tuesday, it's supposed to get up above 70 degrees in Waltham, according to the forecast)
And as shocking as this may seem for those of us who were ready — or already did — break out the shorts and tank tops, this isn't so unusual for our area.

Last April 18, the temps dipped down to the 40s and 30s after a week in the 60s and blanked the tulips and daffodils in a half an inch of snow.
It's also been known to rain this holiday weekend, not ideal for the Boston Marathon, which is normally held on Patriot's Day.
