Waltham Winter Street Affordable Housing Lottery Ends This Week
There's still time to submit an application for the affordable housing lottery at 305 Winter St. in Waltham. What to know.
WALTHAM, MA — Affordable housing at Waltham's 305 Winter St. building is still available through a lottery.
However, those interested in locking down a unit will need to act quickly, as the deadline to submit an application is Thursday at 2 p.m.

Households earning no more than 80 percent of the area's median income (AMI) can apply for 59 affordable rental units. Twenty apartments will be available to those earning no more than 60 percent AMI.
Officials describe the eight-floor building as a "Class-A multifamily community with a full complement of luxury amenities" that includes a private pool and patio, courtyard, work-from-home areas, a two-floor fitness center, speak-easy-inspired clubroom and more.

As for the units, officials say they have nine-foot ceilings, chef-inspired kitchens, in-unit washer and dryer and oversized windows.
The affordable units range from studios to three-bedroom, two-bathroom spaces with price points starting at just under $1,600 for studios to $3,099 for three-bedrooms.
Tenants will pay the costs of electric, gas, water and sewer, and will have one free parking space included. Pets are allowed with a $50 monthly fee for cats and $75 monthly fee for dogs.
