Wayland Helps Sudbury Battle House Fire Tuesday Night
A fire on Tuesday evening in a Sudbury home caused significant damage, and required help from 4 other departments to knock down.

SUDBURY, MA -- Sudbury Fire Chief William Miles said his department battled a significant house fire on Tuesday evening that left at least one person displaced.
Firefighters responded to 4 Brooks Road in Sudbury at 7:37 p.m. after the homeowner returned home to heavy flames coming from his 2.5 story wood-framed house.

The fire was intense, and firefighters called for a second alarm response, according to Sudbury Fire.
The fire was knocked down by 8:30 p.m.

There was significant damage to the second floor and attic.
No one was injured.
Firefighters from Marlborough, Wayland, Maynard, and Framingham responded to the scene, while firefighters from Concord, Lincoln, and Weston covered the Town of Sudbury during the incident.
The fire is under investigation.
The Sudbury Fire Department and the Massachusetts State Fire Marshal’s Office are investigating the fire to determine an origin and cause.
