Wayland Sees Biggest Jump in House Value

Wayland real estate saw the biggest jump among a survey of Boston suburbs.

WAYLAND, MA -- Real estate values have jumped significantly in several Boston area suburbs, according to recent data, including in Wayland.

Towns such as Natick, Needham, Medford, Arlington and Wayland have seen significant increases in value, reports the Boston Globe.

In fact, the Globe, which reports on figures compiled and reported by the Warren Group, Wayland saw the biggest jump with a median price hitting $700,000 at the end of last year. The showed a 12 percent increase and a sales increase of 32 percent.

Needham and Natick also saw significant increases based on the Warren Group’s report. Natick’s median price increased 11 percent to $528,000 in 2015.
