Beloved MA Eatery Opens New Pizza Spot In Wellesley

WELLESLEY, MA — A new pizza spot with ties to a popular central Massachusetts restaurant chain has opened its doors in Wellesley.

Firebird Pizza Co., located at 1 Forest St., officially opened last month. The new eatery, serving pizzas by the slice and by the pie, is owned by The Local Kitchen & Drinks, whose Wellesley restaurant sits right across the street.

The new pizza spot also boasts a fried chicken menu and milkshakes.

The Local also has locations in Waltham, Wellesley, and Wayland. In Wayland, The Local is home to Wayland Pizza Company, a takeout and delivery concept inside the restaurant.
