Tuesday was a banner day for the Westborough High School varsity boys soccer team. The Rangers won the Midland-Wachusett B League title by defeating host Hudson, 2-0, head coach John Hillier said. Senior tri-captain Steven Frame and senior Tyler Slicklen scored for Westborough, with senior tri-captain Brendan Goodliffe earning an assist, Hillier said. Sophomore keeper Griffin Barry earned his seventh shutout, recording nine saves. Westborough (13-1-2 overall, 5-1-2 in the league) travels to Nipmuc at 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

The Rangers won the Midland-Wachusett B League title by defeating host Hudson, 2-0, on Tuesday.
