Donald P. Baca, 60, of Uxbridge; Former Data General Computer Technician

Donald P. Baca, 60, of Uxbridge died Friday Oct. 18, 2013 at home.
A lifelong resident of Uxbridge, Donald enjoyed making things grow and operated the Patchwork Farm as well as a landscaping service for many years. He served as sexton at the Village Congregational Church in Whitinsville for eight years, and worked previously as a computer technician at Data General in Westborough for more than a decade.
Donald loved animals and was always willing to take in yet another stray. He had an irrepressible wit and charm and liked to paint nature scenes, play music and collect antiques.
Donald was born in Milford on June 1, 1953, the son of the late Dorothy E. (Desjardin) Baca and John S. Baca Sr. He was a 1971 graduate of Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School, and was a U.S. Air Force veteran during the Vietnam Conflict.
He is survived by two brothers, John S. Baca Jr. of E. Dennis and Russell J. Baca of Northampton; three sisters, June E. LeDuc of Garland, Maine, Sylvia E. Baca of Grafton and Gloria J. “Mickey” Baca of Charlton; and five nieces. He was predeceased by his beloved sister, Carol M. Baca Kirby.
Family members are especially grateful to Marjorie Baca and Bill McKinney for their unwavering support and kindness.
Funeral arrangements will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Baypath Humane Society, 5 Rafferty Road, Hopkinton, MA 01748.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Buma Funeral Home, Uxbridge.
