Eateries In Westborough, Marlborough Donating To Substance Use Charity

The donation period on Thursday aligns with International Overdose Awareness Day.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — A local organization that works on substance use disorder issues will benefit from a fundraiser at two local fast-food restaurants this week.

On Thursday — which is also International Overdose Awareness Day — the Chick-fil-A restaurants in Westborough and Marlborough will donate some proceeds from food sales to Team Sharing Inc. Marlborough-based Team Sharing provides support for families who have lost a child to substance-use disorder.

Anyone who mentions "spirit night" when ordering from the Chick-fil-A at either 36 Apex Drive in Marlborough or 286 Turnpike Road in Westborough will have a portion of their bill donated to Team Sharing.
