Friends of Westborough Library Selected for Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag Program
Every time you purchase one of the blue 'Hannaford Helps' Reusable Bags at $2.50, Hannaford donates $1 to a local community nonprofit.

From Friends of the Westborough Public Library: Friends of the Westborough Public Library, a nonprofit committed to support the public library, has been selected as a beneficiary of the Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag Program for the month of January 2017.
The βHannaford Helpsβ Reusable Bag Program was developed in order to further support Hannafordβs values by making it easy for our customers to contribute to their local community and support the environment. Every time you purchase one of the blue βHannaford Helpsβ Reusable Bags at $2.50, Hannaford donates $1 to a local community nonprofit. Each month, a new non profit will be selected by the store manager to become a beneficiary of the program. And because you are not using paper or plastic, you are helping to save the planet. The goal of the program is to partner with customers to support local nonprofit groups and to reduce needless paper and plastic bag use.
This exciting program has been designed to support local nonprofits like FOWPL. For every blue Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag with the good karma messaging purchased at the 193 Boston Post Road West, Marlboro Hannaford, Friends of the Westborough Public Library, FOWPL, will receive a $1 donation in order to help fulfill its mission. The mission of the Friends of the Westborough Public Library is to stimulate the use of the library and its resources; to sponsor programs designed to add to the cultural life of the community; to provide direct financial assistance by purchasing for the library special and unusual items which have not been provided for in the budget, but which the Friends deem beneficial to the library; and to support and enlarge the libraryβs scope in the community and to provide the library with passes to various local museums which can be loaned to library patrons.
