Man Lies On Stop & Shop Floor, Arrested For Stealing Car: WPD
Police found drugs inside the stolen car. The man from West Boylston is facing several charges.

WESTBOROUGH, MA—Strange behavior from a man in a grocery store led police to find a vehicle that had been stolen from the commuter rail parking lot.
On Monday, July 16, Westborough police headed to the Stop and Shop, where it was reported that a man had been lying on the floor inside, leaving only when the person who called police approached him.
The man left in a maroon SUV, and officers found the car in a nearby Mobil gas station, with the man walking away from the vehicle. Officers approached him to check on his well being, and while speaking to the man - later identified as Christopher Durham, West Boylston - officers found out that the SUV had been reported stolen.

Durham was placed under arrest. During an inventory of the stolen vehicle, drug paraphernalia and white pills, believed to be Tramadol, were located.
Durham was charged with larceny of a motor vehicle and possession of class C drugs. The vehicle was reported stolen from the Westborough MBTA Commuter Rail parking lot July 13, 2018.
