Man Menaced Kids With Gun At Westborough Hotel: Police

The threat led police to uncover "trafficking amounts" of drugs, Westborough police said.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — A man who police say threatened a group of kids playing at a local hotel with a gun was arrested on a slew of charges following the incident, according to Westborough police.

Police went to the Extended Stay America hotel along East Main Street on Wednesday after a report of a man flashing a gun at children who were running along a hallway. When police went to the man's room, police say he attempted to stall while officers listened to him "rummaging around" in the room.

When Marcos Menezes, 38, let officers in, they swept the room and discovered "trafficking amounts" of drugs, including methamphetamine, a replica revolver, drug paraphernalia and cash, according to the department.
