New Sharps Collection Location For Westborough Residents
There's a new place to drop off unwanted sharps. The Senior Center doesn't want them anymore.

WESTBOROUGH, MA—There's a new place in town to drop off unwanted sharps, safely.
The Westborough Senior Center is no longer collecting used household sharps (hypodermic needles, lancets, etc) for disposal.
Residents may now bring used sharps to the Board of Health office in the Town Hall, 34 West Main St., during regular business hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesdays 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Fridays 7:30 a.m. to noon.

Sharps must be in an approved sharps container. There is currently no charge.
Disposal of sharps in the trash was banned in 2012.
