The Westborough High School varsity football team opens the playoffs at 7 p.m. Friday at Leominster's Doyle Field, WHS Director of Athletics Johanna DiCarlo said Monday.
The Rangers will face host Leominster in the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association 2013 Football Central Division 2 quarterfinals, according to the tournament bracket.
The winner advances to the semi-finals, where they'll play the Shrewsbury-Nashoba quarterfinal winner.
Westborough (1-6) is seeded last in the eight-team bracket. Leominster (7-0) is seeded first, Nashoba fourth and Shrewsbury fifth.
